Game 1 of the NBA Finals baby! Can ya feel it in the air?!?! The Eastern conference Champion Boston Celtics snag home court advantage against the Western Champs, the L.A. Lakers. The hype behind this matchup is unparalleled. I wasn't around to experience the monumental battles these two franchises have experienced in the past but I'm psyched regardless.

KG can grab his first title with the completely revamped Celtics while Kobe can put his off season woes behind him by doing what he thought was the unthinkable, actually winning another title with the Lakers. Remember all the trade rumours at the start of the season? Know look at the Lakers. Best record in the West and in the finals. Not too shabby. Sure having Gasol in the starting lineup doesn't hurt but they were keeping up with the big boys the entire time regardless.
